Beacon Homecare provides home care in Penrith and the Eden Valley area. It was established in November 2002, is based in Penrith and is a family run business. Beacon Homecare Services has grown over the years in both size and reputation.
Our company aim is to support our service users and help them maintain independence, dignity and self worth whilst living in their own homes.
Beacon Homecare Services is registered with the Care Quality Commission and a member of the UKHCA. The business is also committed to a high level of training for our carers and is going through an NVQ training programme as well as an in house training programme.
Our services are provided to adult who, due to illness, infirmity or disability, require the provision of care or assistance in their own homes.

Beacon Homecare ensures that all employees meet the requirements of the National Standards outlined in The Care Certificate. All Carers will attend regular Training courses provided by the company regardless of previous experience. All Carers are expected to enroll for NVQ Level 2 in Care within 6 Months of being employed by the Company. Prior to commencing employment, all carers are checked as to their suitability via the Criminal Records Bureau and the Protection of Vulnerable Adults Register.

Beacon Homecare is based in Penrith, Cumbria and covers an area of about 15 miles around Penrith.
Sandra had been a Care Service Coordinator for several years employed by another company prior to the establishment of this company. Working together with the Registered Care Manager Sandra has established Beacon Homecare Services Ltd. and the company has gone from strength to strength. Sandra has achieved her level 3 in Care.
From November 2002 Julie has been Beacon Homecare Services Ltd's Care Manager and has vast knowledge and experience in the Homecare industry. She has worked as a home carer for 17 years and has been a Director of Beacon Homecare Services since May 2003. Julie has achieved her NVQ level 2 and 3 in Care, her assessor award in Care and has also achieved her NVQ level 4 Registered Manager award.
